About the AHRA

Acton Hot Rod Association was founded in 1987

following the dissolution of the previous club,

Orwell Valley Cruisers 1976-1987.

The reason for the name is that four dedicated

hot rodders who lived in Acton at the time,

met down the local pub The Crown once a week,

to chat about cars.....

Over the years people dropped by, becoming members

and so the club grew, and grew.....

In 2006 the part of the club disbanded, forming a new group.....
